VALERIE'S BIO

A native New Orleanian, who has worked in the hospitality and event planning industry for over twenty years. Valerie joined the Creole Cuisine Special Events group in 2011. Valerie has been an active member of NACE for over 10 years. She has served on several boards and committees for NACE throughout the years, and prides herself in keeping up with the current trends in the industry by continuing her education through these organizations

What is his favorite NACE memory and why?  

My favorite NACE memory is winning the scholarship to attend the National conference in 2008 in Philadelphia.  I still count many of the people that I met and spent time with on that trip as close friends and colleagues.

How has NACE benefited your professional life or business?

It has provided me a great opportunity to network and establish relationships with other industry professionals.

What would your autobiography be called? 

From the Parish to Fifth Avenue…..a tale of shrimp boots, stilettos, and champagne!!

What was your first thought when you woke up this morning? 

Finally had some good coffee.

What cheers you up? 

Flying to New York for the weekend.

What is your favorite book to read?
